Already received requests for: • safety & justice/peace & protection for some of my youth students involved in a school lockdown for violent threats • a mother in the hospital battling stomach cancer • financial provision & new job opportunities • peace & provision for victims of hurricane damage I promise to pray, intercede & believe for all requests. They’re my Sabbath Days after a Super Sunday!⠀ ⠀ How many ministry workers love a good relaxing Monday?! ✋🏼⠀ ⠀ I’ve learned though the office may be closed, The Church (Big C) is not! The ekklesia is always on call. There are 167 other hours in a week outside an hour long church service. That’s where ministry continues. Let’s commit to BEING The Church errrryday all day mmmkay?! 😊⠀ ⠀ ⠀
Sometimes we gotta go a little “Spirit Check” and really dig to find our motives. For awhile I was in a performance-based church environment in which being in the popular crowd got you noticed and favored. I found myself often conforming to the pattern of that world and I ended up in a tailspin of turmoil as the Holy Spirit convicted me, corrected me and brought me through an intense season of character development and course correction. ⠀ ⠀ For so long I felt shame and embarrassment I had been so immature and influenced by the culture. BUT GOD is good & His grace and mercy really do chase us down...⠀ ⠀ Thankful I went through that experience and have been set free from that enslaving mindset...now I have the honor of helping set other captives free by speaking LIFE, TRUTH & IDENTITY into Tribe Youth, our Key Leadership Team & right here on IG! 🙌🏼⠀ ⠀ •••|| Beloved: Be true. Be you. ||•••⠀ #BeGoDo ⠀ ⠀ H E A R T • T A L K Technically I am #unqualified. I didn’t go to seminary or graduate from Bible College. I wasn’t born into a family lineage of ministers. My last name doesn’t grant me privilege, access, or favor of man. I’m just a normal everyday woman who was saved and set free. Not much different than the “Woman at the Well”, if we’re being honest. I have all kinds of stone-throwing critics...and more are on the horizon, no doubt. I’m certainly not striving for the spotlight and coming from a world saturated in Christian celebrity, I’m just plain uninterested. I admit I have a lot to grow through and many hills to climb. This isn’t a career it’s a calling and I’m thankful that even when I feel like I can’t, God is good to come in and douse me with just enough grace to remind me that I’m right... I can’t BUT HE CAN!
